Brief Update

It's been a slow start to the 09-10 season for HISC but a brief update for our members is long overdue.

Yearbook - this has gone down well (our quiz even appeared on a County message board within days of its publication). We are told Help the Hatters have sold virtually all their copies. This meant upwards of £600 towards their work at Manor Farm and we are advised they were off to look at carpets soon after selling the yearbooks. Incidentally, if anyone missed out on a yearbook HISC have a small number left. Contact us in the usual way.

Sponsorship - with the departure of Tommy Rowe and the failure to take enough advertising revenue to cover the printing costs of the Yearbook HISC are currently sponsors of just one player for 09-10. This will be out third season backing Greg Tansey in this way. In passing we wish Tommy all the best in his future career after his move to Peterborough and thank him for supporting our events over the last couple of years.

Plans for the future - a committee meeting involving as many of the branch representatives as possible will be held in the next couple of weeks. This will discuss where HISC goes from here and will decide on the date for the delayed Annual General Meeting.
